Great kit that was easy to put together. I like that the threaded portion was a separate insert and that you can purchase extra tubes or cut tubes from generic stock. The only thing to get 5 stars was if it had a clip.

Great looking pen. Easy to make with only a single tube to turn. You could make two pens at once on the mandrel.

This kit has one of the longest tubes I have come across. It's great for showcasing a large section of a beautiful blank. The click mechanism is high quality. My only complaint is that the nib connector (not the nib itself) can be completely seated into the tube by hand. It can be removed with a little effort, which concerns me. I fear it coming loose with time and usage. I emailed Berea about the issue and they suggested using loctite to hold it in place. I hope the manufacturer of the components fixes the issue. A part designed to be pressed into place shouldn't be able to be done with finger pressure alone. Fix the issue and this would have been given a 5 start rating.

I have made several of these pens. For shows, I put a premium refill in and let people compare the look, feel and writing experience with my similar Mont Blanc. Most prefer the Euro, and there is no haggling over price! I rated 4 stars because it is more difficult to make than other designs, but look is superior and it is one of the slimmer Parker style kits.

I purchased this because I wanted a matched pen and pencil set. The kit is just as easy to turn as a Sierra Pen goes to gather easily and looks great. Glad I purchased it. I very rarely give 5 stars. This is as close as I've come to hitting the 5 star rating in over 5 years of reviewing products. This will be on my watch list and frequency ordered.

Superior kit. I appreciated the very excellent directions. The appointment at the end of the cap, the death's head, made me wonder if they could do a chrome end piece that could accept large initials.

Easy to make and fairly popular.

Like it's cousin, the whistle key ring, these are one of my best sellers. They are extremely easy to make and sell almost instantly. If you are selling, the simple designs...straight, slight taper, slight "football" shape...sell just as well as fancy beading.The only reason for the 4 star rating instead of a 5 is that my last 100+ kits have had a sloppy fit that required epoxying of both ends. If you are building in quantity, you will seriously increase your production time, not to mention the mess caused by epoxy sometimes getting on the finish. Both gold and chrome, mainly the chrome, were so loose that they could be pushed together with gentle finger pressure. This was definitely NOT the case the first 2+ years I built these.

The all chrome kit is an attractive stopper. The only complaint I have had from customers is that the stopper did not fit some of their bottles (the reason for only 4 stars). I changed out bottom O-rings for a smaller thickness and they were happy.Hint...a bit of wax applied to the screw mandrel will help keep the blank from sticking on the mandrel while you turn.

I am from New Zealand. I've made and sold many of these little beauties. They are great for using up the remnants of pen blanks and take only a couple of minutes to turn. I sell them at market for NZ$8 and they are a steady seller. Many people have $10 in their pocket when they will not always have enough for a pen. Often little girls buy them. Recommended as a worthwhile addition to your inventory.

Great pen, beautiful! Good quality kit and it writes nice. I matched a Titanium Gold and Stirling Silver with Big Leaf Maple and it is an outstanding pen. Everyone that's seen it just raves about it. The only reason for 4 stars is the instructions are confusing. They are combined for the Fountain and Roller both and as I said, confusing.
